ASCENT is a leadership conference sponsored by a team of churches and campus ministries that have come together around one common goal: the training and equipping of college and post-college leaders.
With ministries throughout the midwest, the Rockies, the southwest and Mexico, the team is excited to bring this opportunity for leadership training to Colorado.
ASCENT will challenge you, through spiritual practice and leadership training, to develop as a faith-filled leader who impacts your community, church, and culture.
Leadership that is not emotionally and spiritually healthy is not Godly, yet many of us look to the latest leadership guru or CEO to better understand what it means to be a leader and not the word of God itself.
Join with college and post-college leaders from across the country as we examine the major factors we need to consider to be healthy leaders. These components will be divided into two categories: the inner life and the outer life of a leader. We will place these components in their proper order and see how the path to real leadership begins within.
ASCENT will challenge you, through spiritual practice and leadership training, to develop as a faith-filled leader who impacts your community, church, and culture.
Cost: $229 ($269 after June 25)—covers all program fees, meals and shared lodging.

ASCENT 2017 will be housed at the Ponderosa retreat center in Monument, Colorado.

Are you ready to save the day?
Come dressed in your best formal attire with an allusion to (or inspired by) a superhero or supervillain. (Examples will be posted on the ASCENT FB event page if you need ideas.)
Hosted at Stark Tower (a.k.a. the gym), experience your moments of destiny and opportunities to soar. While you dance the night away, don't forget to use your powers to fight the good fight and team up to thwart villainous plans. Save the day and you could be rewarded.
ASCENT attendees may customize their INSIDE/OUT experience through the selection of "Breakouts." These short courses will expand on main session teaching, provide ministry skill training, and develop spiritual practices.
Ethics breakouts focus on the struggle with the thornier issues of life and faith.
Leadership Development breakouts focus on the expansion of leadership knowledge and application.
Life Skills breakouts focus on the development of skills useful in life regardless of ministry context.
Ministry Skills breakouts focus on the imparting of situationally-specific skills useful in a ministry context.
Spiritual Practice breakouts focus on new understandings of the historical practices of faith.
Registration is due by July 25.
